I love a lighthouse, and I’m lucky enough to have one just down the road from me! Black Nore lighthouse is situated on the coast of Portishead. Built in 1894, it is a grade II listed building, it has been helping guide ships and boats along the Severn Estuary on their way to Portbury Docks and Bristol Harbour. It’s also a gathering places for all sorts of interesting sea life…well in my imagination anyway!
