I have been working with glass since the early 1990s when I took a course in stained glass at Queens Road School of Art and Design. Prior to that I had worked as a social worker and I continued with that, along with counselling and mentoring, over the following years in a part time capacity, combining with my glasswork, which I sold at craft fairs, festivals and to retail outlets. I now focus solely on the glasswork.

My work, which includes stained, painted and fused glass, is carried out at my home in Long Ashton and is characterised by bright colours and intricate pattern. I make a variety of items including mobiles and hangings, small mirrors and candle holders, hot air balloons, fish, rainbows, flowers and butterflies, as well as jewellery including earrings, pendants and bracelets. I try to work ethically and to keep my prices as affordable as possible.
